GE Capital has expanded its UK and
cross-border structured asset-based lending with the appointment of
James Simeons as corporate originations and structuring
director.
The former JP Morgan executive director joins
GE Capital’s Corporate Structured Finance Team from Bank of Tokyo
Mitsubishi UFJ, where he was responsible for trade receivables
securitisation.

Capital said Simeons appointment was a statement of the company’s
intent.
He said: “His breadth of experience in
originating and structuring complex transactions will no doubt
stand him well, as the team positions for further growth with its
asset based lending product suite across the UK and pan European
markets.
“Expanding our capabilities in markets such as
cross-border and the UK corporate space will contribute greatly to
the GE Capital vision of growth.”
Based in London, Simeons’ role will see him
assisting £100m-plus turnover companies with lending solutions such
as receivables, inventory and plant & machinery financing
including structuring original tailored finance options.

Simeons became vice president of Japan’s
