Brokers are being encouraged to attend a series of road shows run by on-line loan provider Funding Circle to help develop their understanding of the peer-to-peer lending market in the UK.
The seminars, which will take place around the UK, will provide introductions to the peer-to-peer lending market and the process of listing a business looking for finance on the Funding Circle marketplace.

In addition there will be an opportunity for the attending brokers to learn news skills in how to market peer-to-peer lending to their clients, and also sessions on how the credit decision process is made.
Funding Circle provided £130m (156m) in funding for small business in 2013 and they hope that these seminars will open up the option to more businesses in 2014.
