Raphaels Finance, the motor and asset finance division of Raphaels Bank, has appointed Darren Greenyer as deputy head of lending.

He will be responsible to develop the company’s relationships with lending partners in both its motor finance and asset finance sectors.

Greenyer joined Raphaels Finance from vehicle information provider HPI, where he held various roles including finance and insurance director as well as head of automotive finance.

Carl Virgo, Head of Lending at Raphaels Bank said: "We are delighted to have secured Darren’s appointment, he brings considerable industry knowledge and expertise to this significant new role. Darren understands that intermediaries need quick decisions, efficient service and flexible procedures based on both personalised and automated business solutions, along with a high-quality, customer-service orientated approach. These are the cornerstones of our proposition and Darren will play a pivotal role in extending awareness of our offering and supporting our growth ambitions".

Greenyer joined Patrick Charlton who also moved to Raphaels Finance as national sales manager soon after the company rebranded from Southern Finance last October.
