Donnelly said the company looked forward to
the knowledge and knowhow Sorensen’s experience of the European
fleet market would bring to the business.

Sorensen said he was delighted to be joining
Fleet Logistics “at this exciting time in its development”.

“I believe Fleet Logistics has huge potential
for growth in the region and that multi-bidding is definitely the
way forward for large international clients,” he added.

Fleet Logistics manages around 6,000 cars on
behalf of customers in across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland
and has plans to double the Nordic fleet within as short a time
frame as possible.

The Helsinki office and the new contract with
NSN, which builds on a two-year relationship in which Fleet
Logistics has managed the NSN fleet across 10 European countries,
is part of the company’s growth plan.

Donnelly said the company was in progressive
discussion with a number of other large fleet operators in the
region.

Peter Soliman Fleet Logistics’ chief executive
said: “We see considerable growth opportunities within the four
main countries of the Nordic region, where there are some large
multi-national organisations domiciled in the region.”

In addition to its Nordic business, Fleet
Logistics has operations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany,
Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland
and the United Kingdom as well as partnership agreements in
Czechoslovakia and Slovakia.
