Automotive technology provider epyx has made three director level appointments.
Aditya Varadpande has been appointed as director of the newly-created growth and marketing department. He shall also lead the company’s international operations.
The department will identify new opportunities for epyx in the UK, Europe and further afield, maximising the potential of existing products while developing new services for epyx’s fleet and network customers.
Varadpande has previously held several marketing and sales positions for Danaher and was most recently commercial director for UK and Ireland.
David James has been named as commercial director with a remit to grow and strengthen the company’s telesales and web distribution capabilities.
James has extensive experience in the fleet sector, having spent the last seven years leading the telesales teams at Allstar Business Solutions, The Fuelcard Company, and Keyfuels.
Nik Sherwood is the new director of software development. His main objective is to improve epyx’s software development and testing processes. The end result will be greater development capacity, more flexibility and improved planning.
Sherwood has nineteen years’ experience in software development. He was previously product architecture director at Fleetcor and has also held senior roles at Compuserve and ProTech Systems.
Steve Greene, managing director at epyx, said: "epyx’s highest priority is to deliver valuable innovations for our clients and dealers. These new senior leadership appointments are a critical part of that process. Aditya, David and Nik each bring a wealth of experience and long track records of success to their new roles. I am very pleased to welcome them to epyx."
