The Leasing Foundation has appointed Tim Gibson, who is currently head of Learning Services at the UK Ministry of Justice, as its advisor on e-learning.

Gibson has worked in learning and development for the last 15 years, particularly in financial and professional services.

Previously he was founder of Knowledge=Power, a leading training provider in financial services learning that trained over 30,000 UK independent financial advisors.

Peter Thomas, one of the Foundation Directors, said: "We are delighted that Tim has agreed to join us to contribute to our work on education, training and development. His world-class work in learning and development strategy, design, delivery and evaluation will help us better understand what the industry needs and help us to create solutions that serve those needs".

The Leasing Foundation also recently called for clear career routes into leasing to be established and the industry to be ‘demystified’ in a consultation paper on education.
