Close Brothers Business Finance, a UK broker funding specialist, has invested in its sales function by establishing new teams to provide further support for its broker partners supporting the SMEs.
The key changes are:

A Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) team has been created, consisting of four colleagues based out of the Hessle, Yorkshire, office who will own and manage their own broker portfolios. They will physically sit alongside credit and operations colleagues, ensuring an improved and more seamless experience for brokers
A Centre of Excellence team has been established in Trafford, Manchester, and focused on broker management and compliance across Close Brothers Business Finance. This team will look to improve the broker on-boarding experience and ongoing care, among other responsibilities
Chris Harris has been promoted into the new role of business development director, continuing our focus on colleague progression
