Close Brothers Business Finance makes new appointments

Close Brothers Business Finance has appointed two business development managers to drive growth plans.

Dale Parker joins from another asset finance firm, prior to which he worked for Ford Motor Company for five years in several roles including fleet and retail sales.

Martin Fletcher joins with leadership experience in asset finance and corporate banking from a range of high profile banks, recently Lloyds Bank.

David Forbes, sales director said: “Martin and Dale’s arrival is a clear sign of our continued ambition to both grow our business and to consolidate our position as one of the leading funders for Brokers. Getting them on board is further evidence of our commitment to brokers, who we aim to help thrive through all economic cycles in their respective markets.

“They will be covering the Midlands and South West territories, respectively, and both bring a wealth of experience across the Asset, Invoice and Fleet finance marketplaces and will add to the already strong team we have here at Close Brothers Business Finance,” he added.

Close Brothers Commercial Finance recently appointed Emma Blair as new regional sales director for Northern Ireland.

Blair has 20 years’ experience in the finance sector and most recently held the position of broker relationship manager at Close Brothers Commercial Finance.

Her new role will see her support a team of sales managers and directors and be responsible for the provision of asset finance including refinance and leasing across the region.

Blair said of her appointment: “I am delighted to be appointed as regional sales director. Our sales directors are already skilled and experienced, so I am confident that we will deliver results for SMEs in Northern Ireland. Close Brothers are specialists in the asset finance industry and our model allows us to excel – it’s not just the assets with four wheels and an engine that we will finance. We look at bespoke assets and we don’t shy away from unusual deals.

“I enjoy finding solutions and structuring deals to suit the needs of our customers and look forward to working with my team to support the SMEs in the area,” she added.
