CIT Global Vendor Finance has launched a suite
of online software to support its manufacturer partners and
resellers.
Called e-Quiportal, the suite is designed to
support the changing technological requirements of partners such as
cloud-based products, managed services and usage-based billing, the
US-headquartered lessor said.
The first product from the suite is called
e-Quipdirect which allows customers to order and finance equipment
and related services, such as software, extended warranties,
installation and training, through one process.
The portal currently supports Google’s IT
products Chromebook and related Chromebox cloud software
programmes, meaning Google’s business customers can acquire these
products, select their financing option, apply for credit, receive
credit decisions, and electronically sign documentation all
online.
Other e-Quipdirect products will be launched
in the coming months.
Ron Arrington, president of CIT Global Vendor
Finance, said: “We developed e-Quiportal to fulfill a growing need
among our vendor partners for a robust, end-to-end finance offering
that ranges from online purchasing to managed services to cloud
solutions.
