Leasing consultancies in
partnership to form Invigors EMEA LLP.

Rival leasing consultancies
The Alta Group and Invigors are to combine in a formal partnership
called Invigors EMEA LLP. The new business will be part of the Alta
Group.

The newly formed venture will
aim to provide strategic support services, including but not
limited to consulting, corporate restructuring, and vendor and
captive programmes.

Chris Boobyer, who is to be
chairman of the EMEA executive, said: “The two businesses have a
strong heritage.

“The outlook for the leasing
industry throughout Europe is positive – this is why we thought we
should come together and best serve that industry.”

Invigors EMEA has a total of
seven partners based in the UK, all with equal status.

They include Boobyer, Richard
Guilbert, Malcolm Ogle, Mike Roberts, Richard Ryan, Marc Tendler
and George Tonks.

Plans are in place to extend
its coverage across Europe “when suitable resources and clients are
identified”.

Boobyer will be joined on the
Alta worldwide management committee by Ogle and
Guilbert.

Ogle said: “We are optimistic
about the industry’s future, both in EMEA and in the regions that
The Alta Group serves.

“The industry’s needs are
changing and our strengthened presence in EMEA comes at the right
time in this developing economic cycle.”

John Deane, CEO of The Alta
Group, has said industry leaders are looking to change business
models in order to promote growth and keep up with the challenges
presented by rapidly changing technology, as well as an altered
regulatory environment.

Invigors EMEA will aim to
support them in this.

Invigors will be the regional
brand for EMEA and will identify itself as part of The Alta Group
globally.

Alongside the seven UK-based partners, it has existing
business relationships in Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe,
France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
