BRS

Dunstable-based truck rental,
contract hire, driver and fleet management firm BRS has announced
that Jon Juxon has been
appointed as its new sales director.
Juxon joins BRS from the Royal Bank of Scotland, replacing
Mark Barton, who left BRS
earlier this year.

ECS

Chris Martin has been appointed as
account manager at Société Générale technology subsidiary ECS,
responsible for the development and management of key ECS clients
in the commercial and public sector market.

Martin was previously a senior
consultant at independent IT financier Syscap.

GE Capital’s Steve Sargent, 49, who was chief
executive of GE European Equipment Finance from 2000 to 2003, has
been promoted to president and chief executive of GE Capital’s
business operations in Asia Pacific.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Sargent
will replace John Flannery,
who will run GE’s operations in India.

QUARTZ FINANCE

Ian
Jackson
has joined Quartz Finance, with the aim of
developing the company’s new business in the aviation and marine
finance sectors.

Jackson has over 15 years of asset
finance experience, having worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, GE
Capital, CIT and Hitachi Capital.

Most recently, he has been working
as an independent consultant in the aviation and marine finance
industries.

RENAULT TRUCKS

Mark Patterson has joined Renault Trucks
UK as a regional sales manager for used commercial vehicles.
Patterson will support the company’s general manager for used
vehicles, Mike Finney, in the
development of the dealer network, which currently comprises 27
used vehicle centres across the UK. He will mainly focus on the
north of the UK. In his previous roles, Patterson worked for MAN as
a rental manager and new vehicle sales manager, and subsequently
became remarketing manager of Alliance & Leicester Commercial
Finance’s used CVs.

Doug GilliesTOYOTA FS

Toyota Financial Services UK has
appointed Doug Gillies as
managing director.

Gillies was formerly operations
director at the captive, stepping into the role vacated by
David Betteley upon his
retirement in October. Gillies was part of the original Toyota
Financial Services team when the captive was set up in 1998, having
joined the company when it was still a joint venture between Toyota
Finance and Lloyds Bowmaker.

VOLKSWAGEN COMMERCIAL
VEHICLES

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has
promoted Matthew Boden to the
position of head of operations, replacing Duncan Sands.

Boden was previously national
fleet sales manager for Volkswagen Passenger Cars, and has assumed
responsibility for all new and used vehicle sales as well as
managing the development of the Volkswagen Van Centre network.

YORKSHIRE BANK

Steve Evans, 50, an asset finance partner
at Yorkshire Bank, has moved from the asset finance division in
Gloucester and Worcester to become a business banking partner in
Coventry, at the Ricoh Arena.
