With nominations for the Leasing Life Awards
now submitted and the list of finalists being drawn up, we are
appealing to everyone across the asset finance industry to get in
touch with their suggestions for candidates to be named Leasing
Life Rising Star 2012.

One of the most exciting categories in this
year’s awards, the accolade of Rising Star will be given to an
up-and-coming professional at any level of seniority, considered by
colleagues and competitors alike to be one to watch in the years to
come.

At last year’s Leasing Life conference,
well-known industry figure Lindsay Town made an impassioned appeal
for all companies to encourage and develop the best and the
brightest young talent in the leasing industry – and this is your
chance to contribute to that crusade.

The person that you nominate should be an
individual of outstanding talent and promise working in the leasing
and asset finance industry. Nominees may be from any business
within the sector – lessor, service provider, broker or
consultancy, and he or she may have any role within that
business.

The nominee doesn’t have to be one of your
staff, or even someone from your company – it could be someone you
have done business with, a former colleague, or even a grudgingly
admired long-term rival.

To nominate, please provide a description of
your Rising Star’s key attributes and achievements to date, in a
document no more than 500 words long, and send it to leasingawards@vrlfinancialnews.com
by close of business on Friday 21 September.
