Home Delivery Network orders 158 MAN trucks
The trucks come as fleet replacements and are on four and five repair and maintenance deals plus MAN Fleet Management, the truck makers own online Vosa and O licence compliance tool. The fleet being delivered includes 84 TGL trucks with Cartwright demount bodies, 13 TGM drawbars and tandem axle trailers also with Cartwright demount bodies, and 61 TGL trucks with box bodies and tail-lifts by Bevans.
Manheim in first offsite auction with GE Capital
Manheims first offsite auction in Italy for GE Capital has totalled 1.3 million, the company has announced. Over 170 vehicles were sold at the auction, which took place at GE Capital premises in Fiumicino, near Rome. The auction was attended by more than 50 dealers and resulted in an 86 percent conversion rate, Manheim said.
Italian lessees’ defaults at record high, says rating agency
The rating agencys Q3 report on the sector said that rising delinquencies and defaults among Italys SME-sized businesses meant that the net default index increased to 2.13 percent in the third quarter of 2009, which is the highest level since measuring began.

UK business confidence slightly up, says KPMG
