Russias lessor Rosagroleasing plans to finance 4,000 units of equipment to farmers this year, the company has said. The state owned lessor, which is specialised in the leasing of agricultural equipment has already financed 1,200 units of equipment in 2010, according to the companys general director, Valery Nazarov.

Italy’s lease moratorium scheme extended
Italys Ministry of Economy and Finance, the countrys banking association ABI and employers representatives have agreed to postpone the deadline for the moratorium to January 31, 2011. The scheme enables firms to obtain a 12-month payment holyday on their loans and real estate leasing agreements and a 6-month payment holiday for all other leasing agreements.
