Baltic lessors show steady 2008 growth

The Estonian leasing arm of Nordea bank has announced that its portfolio rose to almost EEK39 billion (2.5 billion) at year-end 2008 this represents an increase of 32 percent year-on-year.

Czech leasing down 27%

Members of the Czech Leasing and Financing Association (CLFA) financed 3.3 billion worth of machinery, equipment and vehicles during 2008, representing a year-on-year fall of 27.1 percent. CLFA members closed a total of 120,492 moveables leasing contracts over the year.

CV registrations drop 35.6% in Europe
