Before placing its order with Vauxhall, Liverpool-based HDNL,
who has a total fleet of 2,600 vans, had a six-month evaluation
exercise using 58 Vauxhall vans.

“These vehicles have been extremely well received by our depot
managers and drivers,” said Brian Wheadon, director of fleet and
facilities management at Home Delivery Network Limited.
Delivery of the Movano vans is currently underway to the 58 HDNL
depots across the UK from which they will operate. According to
Wheadon, service support for the Movano vans will be split equally
between HDNL’s own workshops and Vauxhall’s dealers.
Separately, Vauxhall’s commercial vehicle range has taken the
top spot in the LCV market, according to the company. Preliminary
data suggests that Vauxhall now has a market share of 23.83 per
cent, accounting for almost one in four of all LCVs sold in the
UK.
