1,200 contracts worth around UAH 500 million (€65 million) since it
started business in November 2005, but announced that with the
credit crunch it is becoming more careful in selecting
lessees.
The company, which was listed among the ten largest leasing
companies in Ukraine in 2007 in terms of sales by the International
Finance Corporation, has reached 1,200 leasing contracts in less
than three years of business and said it had resources to fund
projects, despite adopting a more careful approach to deal with the
current economic turmoil.

MD Ludmila Zolotareva said: “Albeit temporary hardships on the
financial market VAB Leasing has enough resources to fund both new
projects and the ones being in the pipeline. Of course, now we
are more exacting as regards financial position of potential
lessees and also give priority to our long-time clients who have
allowed no delays in payment for leased property.”
