The Czech division of UniCredit Leasing
has reported Kc7.2bn (€0.3bn) of new business in the first half of
this year – a figure virtually unchanged from 2007’s H1
total.
Leasing of movables was 12 per cent less year on year as of the
end of 2008’s first half, standing at Kc5.6 (€0.2bn).
However, leasing of immovables doubled to Kc647m (€27m).
Business loans also increased by 65 per cent to Kc674m (€28.3m),
with consumer loans just behind, rising 54 per cent to Kc270m
(€11.2bn).
UniCredit Leasing – formerly CAC Leasing – is the second biggest
company in the Czech leasing market, with a 300,000- plus contract
portfolio exceeding Kc170bn (€7.1bn) in worth.
