Britain has dropped over 22 percent in September, according to

Trucks registrations, however, have remained stable, with a 3.6
percent increase for September, reaching 58,769 units for the
rolling year.
“September is a key month for registrations, but the credit
crunch hit the figures. The summer’s spending cut meant a
sharp drop in the month’s van registrations,” said Paul Everitt,
SMMT chief executive. “Overall, we expect a tough market for the
next 12 months or more,” he added.
