Italian lessor Ubi Leasing has signed agreements with three
industry associations to support small and medium-sized firms in
Lombardia, the region surrounding Milan and one of the wealthiest
areas in Italy.
The agreements will allow those companies which already have
leasing agreements in place with Ubi Leasing to obtain credit
guarantees from ArtFidi Lombardia, Confapi Lombardia and Confidi
Lombardia, three credit guarantee consortia operating in Northern
Italy.

Companies which are members of one of the three associations
will be allowed to have a revision of their leasing contract after
a due diligence investigation.
Ubi Leasing’s MD Maurizio Lazzaroni said: “We are examining each
request separately. But we believe it is necessary to be reactive
and flexible in supporting the investments of the SME sector, which
is the engine of our economy.”
