TransLinc is supplying the vehicles on five-year contract hire,
with maintenance to be carried out in-house at the company’s
facility in Hounslow.
Wendy Cheesewright, operational support officer at LBH, said:
“TransLinc won the tender to supply 38 vehicles to us, all of which
had to be at least Euro 4 compliant.
“The new vehicles will replace older ones on long term hire and
will help to cut our overall fleet emissions, while being more
cost-effective to run.”
All 38 vehicles will be delivered to London Borough of Hounslow
by the end of the year.
