St. Helen’s Finance, the PLUS quoted provider of asset finance
facilities has been named as PLUS Company of the year at the Growth
Company Investor Awards ceremony held in London recently.
“We are delighted to have been voted PLUS Company of the Year
2008. This award recognises our progress and position on PLUS
Markets since our flotation in 2004 and is a testament to the hard
work by all our staff,” CEO Norman Kenvyn said in a statement.

The winners of the awards are voted for by industry members
based on a survey sent to quoted companies on the junior markets
and then assessed by an independent judging panel.
In the financial year ended 31 December 2007, St Helen’s
reported a pre-tax loss of £312,000 on sales of £776,000. A
commissioned research report by Growth Equities & Company
Research forecasts a pre-tax profit of £107,000 on sales in excess
of £1.4m this year.
