National law firm Shoosmiths has appointed Miriam Scott as a consultant in Shoosmiths’ Recoveries Services Group.
Scott has spent 30 years in-house and in the field of outsourced litigation fields, including from Arrow Global, a provider of debt purchase and receivables management, where she was responsible for litigation activity conducted by the group.

Scott previously led the litigation function at Robinson Way, a subsidiary of the Hoist Finance AB for 10 years, where she managed the in-house litigation team and external lawyers, maximising litigation performance in bought debt and client collections.
At Shoosmiths, Scott will advise a number of lenders and debt purchasers on a wide range of strategic recoveries options within a fully compliant regulatory environment.
