This follows the departure of a number of key
staff at its business finance arm last year, including Robert Munn,
who headed the division.
Commenting on Dunkley’s arrival, a Hitachi
Capital spokesperson said: “Marie Dunkley will join Hitachi Capital
Business Finance on Monday 19 April 2010, as Head of Sales for
Hitachi Capital Business Finance, reporting to Robert Gordon, Group
Finance Director.”
Dunkley, who on her Linkedin page is still
listed as Commercial Leader at GE Capital, previously headed the
industrial finance arm of the US giant’s leasing company. Prior to
GE, Dunkley worked at Newcourt, the Canadian IT vendor finance
business.
GE Capital did not answer calls for comment on
Dunkley’s departure. Hitachi Capital was not available for comment
on Anthony’s retirement plans.
