Manheim’s first offsite auction in Italy for GE Capital has
totalled €1.3 million, the company has announced.
Over 170 vehicles were sold at the auction, which took place at
GE Capital premises in Fiumicino, near Rome.

The auction was attended by more than 50 dealers and resulted in
an 86 percent conversion rate, Manheim said.
GE Capital has already confirmed two more offsite auctions with
Manheim before the end of the year.
According to Jonathan Holland, a business development
director at Manheim, following the success of its first
offsite auction “several other leasing companies in Italy have
expressed an interest in a similar auction proposal over the coming
months.”
