The 600 LCVs will be supplied primarily to Jewson, but also to
other companies of the Saint-Gobain group. Lombard has had a
relationship with Jewson, a subsidiary company of Saint-Gobain, for
over a decade, supplying it with a 3000-strong car fleet.

Commenting on the deal, Denis Wellfare, Jewson’s transport
director, said: “One of the key factors in Lombard’s success was
the long-term relationship built over many years of working closely
with the Jewson and Saint-Gobain transport team.”
