Lombard Vehicle Management (LVM) has scooped a lucrative deal for
the financing of 1,000 specialist engineer vans for its long term
client British Gas.

Lombard competed with several rival lessors to win the deal.
The vehicles, all VW ‘caddys’, will be run on operating lease
and are being delivered signwritten and fitted out with racking and
bulkheads.
British Gas general manager for fleet, Colin Marriott, said: “We
have a long relationship with Lombard Vehicle Management.
“They were very strong on pricing for this deal and have an
excellent all-round proposition for large van fleets. If you put
together their depth of van expertise and with their financial
expertise and scale, you get the competitiveness which British Gas
looks for in its partners.”
