successful year for deals within the public sector, October has
seen two notable local-authority contracts written by the
construction equipment finance house in the UK.

The first, with a total value of €18.8 million, was a bundle of
finance leases signed with Bedford Borough Council subsidiary
Bedford Bereavement Care Limited, to finance the provision of
crematorium equipment over a four-year period.

with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council for the provision of schools
equipment.

In both cases, the finance lease facilities were managed by
Sector Treasury Services Limited on behalf of the awarding
authorities.
