IBM Global Financing last month unveiled

of servers, largely used by online gaming and social network
websites. The company is expected to offer customers the chance to
lease the servers, known as the iDataPlex system, at attractive
rates because of the equipment’s high residual value. The servers
are claimed to be energy efficient and include a liquid cooling
wall that enables it to run at room temperature, so no air
conditioning is needed.
