leasing market, according to latest data by the Estonian Leasing
Association (ELA).
Reporting on data released by the ELA, the Baltic Business News
wire said new sales by leasing companies in Estonia grew 15 per
cent year-on-year to 22.74bn kroons (€1.45b) in 2007.

New sales by Hansa Liising amounted to 10.52 billion kroons.
Hansa Liising’s market share slipped 1 percentage point from the
previous year.
Next came SEB Uhisliising with 5bn kroons or a market share of
22 per cent — a reduction by 4.2 percentage points over the
previous year.
Some of the business may have been lost to the market’s
respective third and fourth largest lessors, Sampo Pank and Nordea
Finance Estonia.
Sampo reported new sales of 3.78bn kroons, an increase in market
share to 16.6 per cent from 13.5 per cent in 2006.
