New business at the small-ticket IT leasing company, which is
listed on the Frankfurt Securities Exchange, declined 17.3 percent
year-on-year, although this was largely due to the company’s focus
during the year on securing liquidity and profitability rather than
volume growth.

The business was heavily supported last year by a strong quarter
four in which new business volumes grew in its German operation by
10.8 percent year-on-year and in its international markets by as
much as 20.4 percent.

An upturn in business in its operations in France, Italy, the
United Kingdom and Switzerland is “likely to continue in the year
2010”, the company reported.

Average value per leasing contract concluded totalled €7,277,
slightly down on the previous year figure of €7,775.
