HVB Leasing GmbH has rebranded to become UniCredit Leasing GmbH,
the company has announced.
The German lessor said it was adopting the name in order to
emphasise its affiliation to UniCredit Leasing, its owner and
Europe’s largest lessor.

“UniCredit Leasing GmbH will now benefit even more from being
part of the group, a European network under the umbrella of a
strong brand,” said Frederik Linthout, chief executive of UniCredit
Leasing GmbH, formerly HVB Leasing GmbH.
UniCredit Leasing GmbH’s 330 employees will continue to serve
its 15,000 customers through its eight German branches, and will
remain headquartered in Hamburg. The German lessor will continue to
be 100 percent owned by Munich-based Bayerische Hypo- und
Vereinsbank AG, itself owned by UniCredit.
