Thornton UK has announced the appointment of Alistair Drage as
associate director for its leasing and asset finance team.
Drage has worked in structured finance for 17 years, advising on
big ticket deals with a combined value of over $5 billion and
across assets involving offshore energy, shipping, renewable
energy, aerospace and rolling stock.

Grant Thornton’s leasing and asset finance team is headed by
Tarun Mistry, and has traditionally focused on small and medium
ticket markets. Drage’s appointment will expand the company’s range
into the large ticket market.
Also introduced to Grant Thornton recently were Bernie McAlister
and Jeevan Sandhu, who specialise in the vehicle finance
sector.
