DiRENT Romania, one of the country’s only operational leasing
companies has announced an estimated turnover of €5m for 2008,
almost double on 2007, due to an expected greater number of bigger
clients. For the past four months, the company’s clients already
double in comparison to the beginning of 2007, the CEO of DiRENT
Romania, Effie Valsamaki said.

The company, which originally started in Greece in 1998, also
hopes to achieve a market share of 10 per cent, up from 5 per cent
in 2007. DiRENT started its operations in Romania in April 2006
with a subsidiary in Bucharest.

“The Bucharest subsidiary became operational in April 2006. Our
immediate plans are to develop and consolidate even more the
company’s operations on the local market and diversify the
portfolio of services,” Dimitris Rompopoulos, president and CEO of
DiRENT Greece said.
