we incorrectly printed two bar graphs in an article titled ‘Over
the first hurdle’, printed on pages 23-25 of the issue. We
apologise for this, and print the correct charts in the adjacent
boxes.The article explored the extent to which European bank
lessors have implemented the new systems laid down by Basel II.
