Cardif makes new appointment

Cardif Pinnacle, part of the worldwide
BNP Paribas Assurance Group has appointed a new chief operating
officer, Bob Silverman.
Silverman, who previously had senior interim management positions
with Applegate, Manpower and Lloyds of London, will be responsible
for Cardif Pinnacle’s information technology, administration and
project management functions.
Prior to his current role, Silverman was also CIO at Spring plc, IT
director with Hays plc and a director of strategy, systems
implementation and consulting group known as Management Solutions
at Deloitte & Touche.
Commenting on his appointment Silverman said: “The recent
acquisition of Direct Life & Pension Services and Warranty
Direct, coupled with investment in the Group as a whole, means that
I have joined Cardif Pinnacle at a very exciting time – I’m
delighted to be part of this dynamic team.”
