Banca Italease, the Italian lessor, is
considering delisting from the Italian stock exchange, according to
the Italian financial weekly, Plus24 – Il Sole 24

The lessor is said to have hired Mediobanca as
its advisor to work on the delisting.

It is understood that the option of delisting could be discussed
at a Banca Italease board meeting scheduled for March 19, when the
company is due to announce its full-year results, alongside a new
industrial plan.

According to Plus24, Banca Italease will also announce
around €2 billion of bad debts in its results.

In January, as part of its development strategy, the lessor
performed a record €1.38 billion securitisation, arranged by BNP
Paribas, Finanziaria Internazionale and Natixis.
