Jeff Addison, a specialist in mergers and acquisitions and
business strategy, has joined the leasing consultancy The Alta
Group.
Addison was most recently a consultant at SFS GMBH, and was also
formerly CEO and managing director of Siemens Financial Services
(SFS) Ltd at the time of the lessor’s acquisition of Schroder
Leasing in 2000.

Recently Addison was involved in establishing a new vendor
finance business in Spain, and advising on setting up new
businesses in Germany and Scandinavia.
It comes at a time of growth at The Alta Group, which in recent
months has hired two other big hitters.
Derek Soper, chairman of Alta’s EMEA Region, said: “[Addison’s]
entrepreneurial approach to M&A challenges, business
reorganisation and performance enhancement will be valuable
additions to Alta’s armoury at a time when we are seeing increasing
demand in these areas.”
Addison is a member of the Finance & Leasing Association’s
business finance code group, and is a previous chairman of the
association’s technology group.
