Lombard, the asset finance arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland, has
financed three new bio-diesel Volvo trucks worth £235,000 for JPM
Eco Logistics. The business was launched last year and became the
first haulier in the country to run its vehicles on 100 per cent
bio-diesel sourced from the UK. Shortly after launching it appeared
on the BBC TV show Dragons’ Den and secured a £100,000 investment
for a 40 per cent stake in the business.
