Lloyds worked closely with both the drivers and the fleet
managers at Morris & Spottiswood to ensure that the individual
specifications of the vehicles met their needs.
“The majority of our work is delivered on site or on the road.
Having operational teams who are pleased with their vehicles was of
the utmost importance in the decision making process,” said Gareth
Roberts, senior supply chain partner at Morris &
Spottiswood.
Last month, it was announced that Lloyds TSB was going to take
over HBOS, in a deal worth £12.2bn. The newly merged Lloyds-HBOS
will have to decide what to do with the two fleet businesses it
will own, Lex and Lloyds TSB Autolease. Combining the two would
create an operator with a fleet of nearly 400,000
vehicles.
