Job Description: J2618 – Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in Agricultural Equipment or knowledge to help manufacturers obtain financing to fund equipment purchases and business operations. Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, N Eng / Scotland.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Generate new leads and follow these up together with leads generated through marketing etc.
Prospecting and cold-calling.
Maintaining and developing relationships.
Pre-screening and structuring transactions.
Compile credit packages.
Work directly with end-user customers to complete transactions.
Reporting on sales prospect pipeline.
Liaising with the company’s executives/directors where appropriate on new sales opportunities and escalating issues where necessary.
Negotiate terms of proposal, prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures and
submit for approval.
Contribute new ideas for the development of the business.
Communicate and escalate potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner.

Experience in Agriculture.
Equipment leasing and finance industry experience in Agriculture manufacturing equipment or other industrial equipment industries.
Demonstrable track record of success and an appreciation of risk.
Structuring and negotiating bespoke, profitable deals.
Managing and developing accounts.
Wide ranging knowledge of the asset leasing market.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
