Our client is seeking a Finance Director – UK, SE Eng / Thames Valley (ref: J2016) to assume responsibility for all the accounting, finance and treasury operations for the UK business. This includes all aspects of management and statutory reporting together with the other fiscal and regulatory requirements connected to accounting and general finance operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Control of Finance function.
Produce and review the Monthly Financial Results and provision of Monthly Financial Report to Board.
Ensure Finance reporting and procedures are appropriate and in line with Group policies.
Preparation of Budgets and Financial Planning in line with strategy determined by the UK business.
Management of preparation of statutory accounts for the UK business and liaison with auditors.
Develop Financial MI to support the wider business.
Fulfill Senior Accounting Officer requirements.
Oversee Treasury function ensuring compliance within Group policies.
Development of Finance team to ensure appropriate staffing levels and expertise.
Participate in formulation of strategic direction for UK that is in line with stated corporate objectives.
Provide deal structuring advice to front office.
Provide technical accounting and taxation advice to various parts of the business as required. Act as Company Secretary.

Qualified accountant with high degree of industry specific technical tax and accounting knowledge.
