Leasing software provider Linedata has successfully rolled out
its Ekip package at Viatelease, the French financing arm of telecom
group JPB ID.
Viatelease, founded in 2005 to finance JPB
ID’s telecoms products for SMEs, looked to Linedata to help
synchronise its back- and front-office systems after its remit was
expanded to cover all telephone, office automation, medical and
security equipment operators.

Philippe Kacel, chief finance officer at
Viatelease, praised Linedata for its competent staff, its quick
turnaround in getting the software operational in three months, and
its connectivity which allowed effective in house
communication.
He said: “All of our applications can
communicate with each other allowing us to maintain our workflow
performances. We are aware that we are currently using only a small
part of Linedata Ekip’s functional coverage and we have also been
impressed by Linedata’s ability to support our future development
of new products.”
Alain Mattei, Linedata’s director of leasing
and credit finance, also announced that the company is working on
the rollout of a new offering Linedata Ekip360, which he described
as “more intuitive, modular and flexible.
