UK leasing arranger Total Asset Finance has appointed
administrators from accountancy firm Deloitte.
Daniel Butters, Neville Kahn and Angus Martin
became the administrators on 18 January.

Total is a subsidiary of Daresbury Services
Group (DSG), a company set up in early 2010 to act as an investment
group in the asset finance sector.
DSG was created by Stephen Dartnell, who was
also managing director of Total, and co-director Stephen Casey.
Casey is financial director of IMS Maxims, a healthcare sector
software provider also acquired last year by DSG.
The investment group’s stated strategy was to
make more acquisitions within healthcare and financial services,
although no further deals were reported.
Casey and Dartnell were unavailable
for comment.
