Neel Amin, managing director of New Leaf Search, said his business had grown significantly over the last nine years and the acquisition would provide "a strong platform" to extend its service into the invoice finance, asset-based lending, commercial banking, property finance and trade finance sectors.

Amin added: "We at New Leaf Search share many of the same values that have defined the CFP brand over the past decade and a half; values personified by integrity, customer focus and a passion for excellence in financial services recruitment."

Trish Stockbridge, co-founder of Commercial Finance People, said New Leaf Search was the firm’s first choice buyer and she looked forward to seeing the CFP brand grow.
