The company will have a shareholders meeting held on January
23rd, in which shareholders will vote on a share issue. It is
expected that as a result funds will be made available for
acquisitions.

“The drafts of the decisions will be published in early January.
We will then make a decision about the scale of the issue connected
with private subscription”, CEO Grzegorz Zolcik said to Polish
business news website Puls Biznesu.
“One of the big German companies is put up for sale and we are
interested in it. That’s why we plan the private share issue. We
are in talks with financial investors”, Zolcik continued. Puls
Biznesu speculated that the company in question may be crane lessor
Grohmann GmbH.
Zurawie Wiezowe is also involved in plans to acquire a Croatian
company with 30 cranes. The company will decide whether to proceed
with this acquisition in Q1 2009.
