UK broker Oak Leasing has signed a contract with scientific
development laboratory Biospace Lab to provide finance on its
pre-clinical imaging systems to its European customers.

The pre-clinical imaging systems use
ultrasound to observe changes in animals reacting to physical or
environmental stimuli and are most commonly used in research for
drug development.
A spokesperson for Biospace Lab said: “A major benefit of leasing
biomedical research equipment in this way is that it provides a way
of acquiring the most modern facilities for carrying out cutting
edge research without the need for large capital equipment grants,
or Capex budget allocations.”

“Leasing also offers a cost effective way of
expanding the range of scientific applications possible on an
existing leased or purchased system, by offering a low cost route
for adding a range of further add-in modules, accessories, or
software options.”
