GE Capital has appointed Elmar Lukas as
managing director for its equipment financing division in EMEA.
Lukas will oversee GE Capital’s future leasing
and asset finance strategy across the region. He will report into
Isabel Fernandez, chief commercial officer for GE Capital in
EMEA.

Fernandez said: “Leasing is a core market for
us and one where we are investing for our customers. Elmar’s
appointment combined with our investment in technology, and our
pan-European expertise, will help our customers as they return to
growth mode.”
Lukas’ previous experiences in leasing include
a commercial leader role for GE Capital in Germany and, before
that, an aircraft leader role for GE Capital EMEA. Prior to joining
GE, he spent several years in the leasing industry in Germany.
