Following strong demand for representation of
the legal sector at this year’s Leasing Life Awards, a new awards
category has been announced to celebrate excellence in the
provision of legal services to the industry.
The new Asset Finance Legal Provider of the
Year award recognises experience, visibility and reach within
the European asset finance sector, and will be judged not just on
the basis of volume of work undertaken by firms, but on the
complexity and success of that work.

After a lengthy shortlisting process, the
nominees for this award are:
- Wragge and Co
- Norton Rose
- Clyde & Co
- Watson, Farley & Williams
- Shearman & Sterling
- DWF
- DLA Piper
In addition, two new finalists have been added
to existing awards categories. Test equipment lessor Microlease has
been added to the Innovator of the Year category, while incumbent
SME Champion Investec Asset Finance has been entered once again in
the SME Champion of the Year Award.
The winners in each category will be announced at the
fifth Leasing Life European Conference on 3 November 2011 at
the Sheraton Arabellapark Hotel in Munich, Germany. See the
