The UK’s National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) has appointed Fiducia Commercial Solutions’ Marcus Grimshaw as chairman for 2013 and 2014.

Grimshaw said: "Our main focus this year includes training and education, increasing our brand awareness and providing more benefits for our members. I am pleased to be able to continue to work with Adam Tyler and his team in the new London office as well as what I would describe as very strong board of directors."

Adam Tyler, NACFB chief executive, said: "I am delighted that the Board has decided to appoint [Grimshaw] as chairman for the next two years. I have no doubt that 2013 will be another challenging but exciting year for the NACFB and all commercial finance brokers, so it is vital that the Association has a strong Board to guide its members through another uncertain period."

Nick Simpson has been re-appointed as the Association’s asset finance director, having been elected to the role in 2011.
